Top 3 pregnancy-safe natural Deodorants

We liked the idea of switching to natural deodorant during pregnancy (and beyond), and after reading about the topic, decided to pay particular attention to avoiding aluminum, the active ingredient in most antiperspirants, that’s been linked to health problems. Here are our top three picks for natural, aluminum-free deodorants that are safe for pregnancy:

Agent Nateur

Why we love it:

After reading about Agent Nateur from one of our favorite bloggers and learning it was the winner of the 2016 Glamour Beauty Awards, we decided to give it a try ourselves. Free of GMO's, parabens, sulfates, aluminum and petroleum, we agreed that this natural deodorant left us feeling and smelling clean. It’s available at The Detox Market and Amazon.

Ursa Major No B.S. Deodorant

Why we love it:

The unscented, baking soda-free formula goes on smooth and leaves no stains on clothing. Plus, this natural deodorant is free of aluminum, petrochemicals, sulfates, parabens, synthetic fragrance or color, glycols, silicones or PEGs. We did find, however, that we needed to reapply later in the day to stay feeling fresh!

Jason Soothing Aloe Vera Deodorant Stick

Why we love it:

With no aluminum, parabens, phthalates or propylene glycol, we found the nourishing and soothing formula of this natural deodorant to be effective without leaving us with a strong “earthy/green” deodorant scent. The lower price point was also a plus.
