Top 3 Pregnancy-Safe Face Oils
We love face oils! They’re so natural and simple, yet feel luxurious and nourishing. Most are packed with antioxidants, polyphenols, and omega fatty acids that make your skin look and feel more hydrated, glowing, and plump! Plus, face oils are multitaskers and can be used on cuticles and the ends of your hair. There are so many great ones out there. Here are our Top 3 picks for pregnancy-safe face oils that still feel extravagant and leave our skin feeling sumptuous.

Why we love it:
It's hard to look at Australian supermodel Miranda Kerr (founder of Kora Organics) and NOT wonder what she's doing to get such healthy, plump, glowy skin! After watching her inspiring pregnancy wellness routine and discovering that she felt her certified organic skincare products were safe enough to use during her own pregnancies, we were convinced that we needed to try them ourselves.
We love this noni glow face oil - made with noni extract, rosehip oil, pomegranate oil, and sea buckthorn oil - because it's packed with antioxidants and essential fatty acids that smooth, hydrate, nourish, and brighten. It has a light, sweet scent that we enjoy and we both felt dewier and glowier after application. The oil is free of synthetic fragrance, synthetic colors, T.E.A., D.E.A., glycols, silicones, PEGs, ethoxylate, and formaldehyde.
Why we love it:
Beautycounter is a brand that tends to check all the boxes - it bans the use of over 1,500 harmful or questionable ingredients for total skincare safety and peace-of-mind, its products come in simple and elegant packaging that look chic on your vanity, and it features higher-end beauty items we reach for again and again, like the Dew Skin Tinted Moisturizer and the No. 1 and No. 2 facial oils (we haven't tried No. 3 yet).
Both the Beautycounter No. 1 Brightening Facial Oil and the Beautycounter No. 2 Plumping Facial Oil are a blend of seven lightweight, natural oils that moisturize and nourish the skin. No. 1 has a citrus scent and contains vitamin C to help brighten and even skin tone for those concerned with dullness. No. 2 contains jasmine oil and argan oil to target concerns including dry skin, loss of elasticity, and fine lines. (If we had to bet, we'd say No. 3 is great too...it's best suited for those with acne-prone skin.)
Why we love it:
This is a facial oil that the beauty expert at Credo recommended we try because of its high concentration of omega-3s, and when we saw it featured in one of Goop’s beauty articles, we thought it was worth a shot! It’s made from Chia oil - which is apparently the richest-known plant source of omega fatty acids, antioxidants, and minerals. The light-scented oil touts its ability to leave skin hydrated, nourished, protected, and radiant, which we love!
